The American Red Cross lifeguard certification class equips individuals with the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to ensure the safety of swimmers in various aquatic settings. The class offers hands-on training in water safety fundamentals, first aid, CPR, lifeguarding skills, and emergency action plans. Participants must be 15 years old to participate, and must be able to pass the prerequisite swim test. Once completed, the certification is valid for two years. This a blended learning training, and the online portion is completed before the listed in-person skill sessions.
